J

SHINE SA, May 2023

We have an exciting opportunity to join SHINE SA, a leading sexual health service in South Australia. SHINE SA is a non-government, not-for-profit primary health care organisation working to improve sexual and reproductive health and relationship wellbeing in our communities.

The Director, Clinical and Counselling Services Division is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is responsible for ensuring high quality, integrated sexual and reproductive health services are provided to clients from SHINE SA’s priority populations*. This includes strong leadership and oversight of the delivery of evidence-based, safe and effective clinical care through SHINE SA services, projects and programs, and incorporates clinical governance, risk management, service development and quality improvement. As leader of SHINE SA’s clinical and counselling services, this role also ensures that clinical leadership is established and espouses SHINE SA’s vision and values, takes strong initiative, brings attention to detail and an innovative approach.

SHINE SA is an equal opportunity employer. If you don’t tick every box in this ad, please don’t rule yourself out. Research suggests that women and other people in underrepresented groups (including Aboriginal, LGBTIQA+, culturally diverse and people with disability) tend only to apply if they meet every requirement. We focus on hiring people who share our values of inclusion, collaboration, adaptability, courage, and integrity rather than ticking boxes – so if this role resonates with you, please apply.

This appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Checks (WWCC) and evidence of TGA approved COVID-19 Vaccination including a booster.

Please contact Holley Skene via email or phone (8300 5345) if you have any questions or would like to discuss this opportunity further.

Applications close at 9 am Monday 5 June 2023. Please submit your application via the SEEK website including a 2-page cover letter addressing the essential requirements of the position, CV, and three referees.

*SHINE SA’s priority populations are consistent with those named in the Australian HIV and STI policies.
