MIFSA, October 2016
What is the experience of someone who identifies as LGBTIQ / gender or sexually diverse (GSD) within a faith system that is still largely non accepting of same-sex relationships and gender diversity?
How do those who are GSD and part of the Christian tradition respond to the message that they are loved by God but that their diversity is not as God intended?
Is the mental health of GSD individuals helped or hindered within Christian community?
You are invited to come along and hear from people who will tell their story about being (or having been) Christian and Gender or Sexually Diverse. These are personal stories shared from lived experience and we ask you to be mindful and respectful of different experiences.
