SHine SA is hosting a ReFRESH forum for:
Workers supporting clients who are experiencing domestic violence
Health professionals and community workers are welcome to attend SHine SA’s forum on supporting clients who are experiencing Domestic Violence.
Domestic Violence is a traumatic experience for survivors and can have huge impacts on their health and wellbeing. That’s why it’s important for us as workers to be aware of DV and be equipped to best help our clients in need.
The forum will feature:
> Short presentations from workers in the field of DV and also from a survivor of DV
> An interactive panel of guest speakers
> Opportunities to ask questions and engage in discussions
> Introduction to resources and referral options
> Networking with other workers from the sector
When: 22 April 2016 (Friday)
Where: SHine SA, 64c Woodville Road, Woodville
Time: 1.00 – 4.00 pm
Cost: $50 (Student Concession $25)
