Same-sex violence survivor calls for more support services

There are growing calls for targeted services for survivors of same-sex domestic abuse with evidence suggesting rates of family violence in the LGBTI community are rising.

Researchers believe one in three same-sex couples experience family violence and figures released by Victoria’s Crimes Statistics Agency show rates have been increasing over the past five years.
