You are invited to learn more about the world first prevention framework, Change the Story.
This two hour workshop has been designed for anyone currently engaged, or considering being engaged, with preventing violence against women.
Released late in 2015, this evidence-based framework provides us with the road-map to a nationally coordinated and shared approached to preventing violence against women and their children.
Ending violence against women and their children is a national priority. Work is already being undertaken across a range of sectors – by governments, non-government organisations, researchers and practitioners – to change the attitudes, behaviours and environments that perpetuate this violence. However this work cannot be undertaken in isolation. To end violence, we need to reach everyone, everywhere, and we need to go beyond individual behaviour change and drive broader, social transformation across our country.
Monday 6 June 2016, 9 – 11.30 am Boulevard Room, Stamford Plaza, 150 North Terrace
