Aboriginal Gay, MSM, Sistergirl & Brotherboy Action Plan – Survey (SA)

Message from Gay Men’s Health SA, 19th June 2015

A Reference group of community members and Aboriginal health workers have been working to develop an Action Plan that addresses the culturally appropriate health and well-being of Gay Aboriginal men, MSM (men who have sex with men), Sistergirls and Brotherboys.

As part of consulting with community we have created a survey (see link below). You are encouraged to complete the survey.

The data will be used to develop the Action Plan. The survey will be open until July 26 and the data will be used to develop the Action Plan.

It will take about ten minutes and is completely confidential.

New Moves for Gay Men’s Health Program

The Gay Men’s Health (SA) Program will be moving after June 30th 2015.

With the announcement made late yesterday from SA Health, GMHSA would like to spread the news to community of the program’s imminent move from RASA (Relationships Australia SA) to a collaborative partnership between VAC (The Victorian AIDS Council) and SHine SA.

The current team would like to thank RASA for supporting the program for the last 20 months, and congratulate both VAC and SHine SA on securing the program for three years from July 1st, 2015.
