With their community programs – like the cooking class for PLHIV and older LGBTIQ+ folk – being unable to proceed in the usual way due to current circumstances, SAMESH are thinking up new and different ways they can bring information, events, and connection to their communities.
For this month’s class, Paul has been looking at recipes that can be made from ingredients you may have on hand in the pantry or freezer. So he’s been busy cooking up a storm of golden flaky deliciousness in order to share this sausage roll recipe with you. Paul made 60 of them for less than $15.
Note: You can adapt this recipe with a vegetarian alternative if you wish. You can also use different herbs and spices according to your tastes.
Listen to GKdiscuss the cooking class on JOY FM here (GK’s features about 20 minutes in, but you may also be interested in the topic of trans & gender diverse people in sport, which is discussed elsewhere in the show)
