Who doesn’t love a recipe from mum? This week we bring you Pam’s Pumpkin & Corn Soup – made by Paul’s mum especially for our recipe posts!

This recipe is a winter favourite that Pam makes whenever there is an excess of pumpkin in the vegie patch.

Pam is an old school home cook, but is always willing to test her skills trying something new – and come winter it is all about cooking warming meals and soups.

Pam is an avid fan of Masterchef and the Food Network, and she has a cupboard filled with recipe books old and new – which makes Paul’s life easier when he’s looking for a recipe to bring us for the SAMESH cooking class presents series! We continue to present recipes & tips while our face-to-face cooking classes for PLHIV and older LGBTIQ+ folk are unable to proceed.

NOTE: If you are a vegetarian, you can swap vegie stock for the chicken stock. Spring Gully Worcestershire Sauce is vegetarian and does not contain anchovies.
