Would you like to know more about the LGBTIQ community and increase your skills? MIFSA is conducting FREE training to mental health and community service workers in the SAFKI Medicare Local region.
This is a chance to find out how to support LGBTIQ people who are likely to access your service.
The training gives you a safe space to ask difficult questions, learn about language, and consider how your service can be actively inclusive and attract this target group. Gain insight into what is preventing the LGBTIQ people from seeking support and build confidence in working with this community.
Training sessions will only be available between March – June 2015. MIFSA will come to you and train your staff at no cost.
